NFI approached Netlife in 2016 with the intention of developing a new visual identity and website. I worked together with designer Siri Østvold to conceptualise a visual direction for the organisation which exists in a large part to help fund Norwegian films, tv series and game development. After an early pre-project (before our involvement) with a provisional concept of “show don’t tell”, we took the opportunity to maximise the use of large image and video throughout. Practically this manifested itself in the homepage and articles of the website, with a body images that faded into the background on larger screens and a play/pause of text scrolling (see video below). I was responsible for the website design and prototyping as well as developing an icon system relating to grant applications, in addition to aforementioned profile work and logo development with Siri, and Markus Ackermann who also contributed greatly to extending and technically executing the profile.
